With Natural Designs recent site implosion and reconstruction, we have changed software applications as you have noticed in our Forum, Gallery, and even our Home Page. Many of you may not be used to this Gallery application. Once you wander around in it for awhile, we are sure that you will like it even more than the old one. But the reason that you are really here is to find out how we are managing layouts for ADSR5. Here you go:

How to upload layouts for ADSR5

Each ADSR5 Challenge will have its own subcategory in our Gallery under the ADSR5 Category.
Challenge One will be ADSR5.1, Challenge Two will be ADSR5.2, etc.
When Challenge One layouts are completed:

• Go to ADSR5.1 in the Gallery. (For Challenge One only!)
  
• Click on the "New Image" button
  
• Enter the Caption (or title), Description (including credits), and Image to upload
  
• Click the "Submit Image" button

You will do the same for future Challenges in the appropriate subcategory.

Your newly uploaded image will be viewable at least three different ways.

• Viewable in the ADSR Challenge album that you just uploaded it to
  
• Viewable by selecting "View All Images - Newest First" at the bottom of the Gallery home page
  
• Viewable by selecting the "My Gallery" tab in your profile

There is no reason to create an ADSR5 album of your own, as your image will then not show up with everyone else's Challenge images. If you have already created one, please delete it. I have already deleted some, and notified their owners. As always, you can create your own albums for non-ADSR related layouts.

Do you need/want us to put our team name somewhere in the title or credits? Will that help all of our fearless leaders and layout checkers track the layouts for completion and compliance?

Tammi,

We will be clicking to your gallery layouts from the links in your team threads. So we'll already know what team # we're checking. And Theresa has this magical spreadsheet with all the team numbers and names and who the members are. If you want to put your name in you can, but we'd get by just fine without it.

We really do appreciate the thought though, we love that you want to make our lives easier for us when checking!

And your very own team thread, based on your team number that you were assigned with your registration confirmation email, will be up very soon. That is where you will post your completion of the challenges.

Question about linking to the kits we used. I know that last year we had to link for certain challenges. Do you want us to link for each challenge? Is that allowed?

This was hard for me to find too! You can view your own layouts if you go to your profile (click on you own avatar or click on your name way at the top of the screen.) When you have your profile open, there's a row of tabs under your status. The last one says "gallery" - click on that to see all your layouts, regardless of which gallery category they are in. You can look at others' galleries the same way.

It took me a while this morning too. I am still finding my way around and realized I hadn't uploaded the 2nd challenge layouts! But I found it. Thank goodness for the "Search" buttons!!

What do you mean by "from the links in our team threads?" Are we supposed to post in our team thread first then in the Challenge thread? That wasn't mentioned in the original instructions.

Or do you mean you'll click on our layout & then search on your spreadsheet by the username?

After you create your LO, you post it in the correct section of the gallery. Then you post the link to your LO in the gallery in your team thread. If you look in the ADSR section, there are 2 areas, this chatter one and team number threads. Find your team number. You will post the links to all of your LOs in that thread, that is where the checkers look for your LOs.

Oh no. I am just reading this now and I uploaded my first challenge layout to the challenge adsr5.1 gallery and I also added it to a new member album I created. I don't know how to remove it. Will this affect my entry?

Absolutely not! You aren't required to remove it, but to remove any image you should just be able to go to the image, select the "edit image" icon on the right and select "delete image". It's that easy.
